From the beginning, when you provide us with the knowledge you have of your child, to when your child leaves to attend their Reception Year, we aim to have a good and positive partnership with all our parents.
Each day we will send details of your child's day on the Famly App, from meals and sleep to what they have been doing through our observations. From your App you can add to their Learning Journals with photos and videos of memorable moments. We will also give feedback in person at the end of your child's day. You can keep in constant contact with staff through the messaging tab on the App, getting an instant reply. You can see if, as all children do, your child has an accident, has been given medicine for a medical condition or illness, or any other incident. The App is "live" so you will see things as they happen.
We will be doing parent consultations at the end of December and June, where you can discuss your child's progress and any concerns you ma, have. As a staff team we are here to listen.
As we are also linked to Dance Box Academy, we will also update you on any fundraising and festival events they may be doing, as you may want to see what the older children are doing. Many of our children also attend the Dance School at weekends.
We have SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) staff who follow our SEND and other linked policies to support children in setting. We are linked with Worcestershire Early Years and SEND Team. Our staff assess the children who, with parent support, will identify needs and make referrals to the most suitable agencies to ensure the children get the correct support for their continued development.
